Pedagogical Approach

Due to the complex and interdisciplinary nature of Distributed Ledger Technologies, I always strive to break down the subject into three distinct yet interwoven aspects of a blockchain system. First, the advanced cryptographic primitives that implement notions of identity and Sybil resistance in a decentralized world; second, the consensus mechanisms that make distributed coordination possible; and finally, the game-theoretic concepts that make such coordination desirable for all agents in the network. While the level of technical depth adapts to the target audience, this high-level abstraction is key to demystifying the intricate nature of DLTs for any background—whether they are formal Computer Science majors or Web3 enthusiasts.
